Tennishoes Among the Nephites
I recently read a book called "Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites". Before I read this book my understanding of the Book of Mormon was confusing. "Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites" goes back in time when Nephites and Lamanites were on the earth, this helps me understand better because it brings ancient stories to life, helping me learn the gospel more clearly. Some characters from the Book of Mormon I didn't understand. In some parts of the book they described the characters and what they did, for example some of them are Ammon, Heleman, Hagoth, and Captain Teancum. Ammon was a great missionary and baptized King of the Lamanites, Lamoni. Heleman led 2,000 young men into battle, not a soul died on Heleman's side. I now have a stronger testimony of the Book of Mormon because of the wonderful stories and the great faith they had. I'm now starting to read the second book.

A Mother's Story
Once there was a lovely mother named Renee Campbell. Who had 3 girls, & expecting a boy. You could tell she was lovely inside and out. As she walked down the street, people would say she was a wonderful mom. She was so patient with her kids, people called her the "Mom of All Nations". How do I know all of this you might ask. Well, let's just say this wonderful mom is my mother. My mom will have a well known legacy by her family. she'll always be there for me. I'm glad she is my mom, and I know my sisters are too. I'm so glad that I can be with my mom and my family forever because of Temples and the Plan Of Happiness!

Happy Birthday!!!!!
Hi every one Today is my dad's birthday, he is turning 34!!!!! He is the best dad you could ever have. He works so hard for his family. I don't know how to say this but in any other way than say I love him & by showing him that I will bake cookies & sing birthday songs, Put on the Beatles for him, And well throw a big family birthday party!!!!!
See He's so funny!! When we were at the store we passed by the cake section and mom said, " I totally forgot a birthday cake for you Nate" And he said to me that when you get older you sometimes don't get birthday cakes. Boy was he wrong, In this house no one ever has a birthday without a cake and ice cream. But this year I'm making cookies for him. Oh, and dad if you are reading this well.... Happy 34th Birthday!!!!!!!!

The adventures of the home school group.
Last week me & my family along with some other home school kids, went to the Planetarium for a field trip. And let me just tell you it was totally cool! We went to see this movie about the kings of Egypt and their stars. & how they believed in their "gods". But my favorite part was at the end. Instead of the screen being on the wall, it was on the ceiling, so it kinda made you dizzy. The reason I liked the end was because they show you this roler coaster on the screen, but it was like you were in the roler coaster. After that we went to the park & found more home school kids. I think my mom was happy about that!:)

Guest Blogger- Mom
Guest blogger here! I'm Renee, Charly's mom. I wanted to put all these beautiful pictures on our family blog, and probably still will, but first I wanted to share them with Charly's readers and tell you all how wonderfully talented and inspiring my eldest daughter is. Charly and I go back more than ten years, I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was pregnant with her. She is cherished. My faith is made stronger because her testimony shines so brightly. She and I had three and a half years together before her little sister was born. I cherish that time, she taught me so much as a gentle and loving little soul. She made me laugh, she made me cry (only happy tears), and touched my heart in such a way that will always be special to me.
As I was preparing to write in our family blog, I came upon these pictures that she took or her two sisters and I, and my heart felt so full. When I look at these with Piper and Winnie on the screen, I can feel the love a big sister has for her younger siblings. My heart is swelled with pride as I see Charly growing into a warm and gentle loving spirit who wants to love. She is going to make a terrific mother and wife someday. I hope she knows that.
Just this morning while her daddy lay asleep and I was downstairs sewing, Charly heard Winnie crying and promptly got her out of bed. Winnie loves her! Can you tell? Charly cares so deeply for her sisters, she strives to help them along the way and help them through their struggles. Piper and Charly want to be just like her. Why, just this evening at dinner, Piper mentioned that she was thinking about becoming a vegetarian. She mentioned she would maybe only eat meat on Thanksgiving, something that Charly has said a few times. Charly responds with a smile and encourages Piper to pray about it before she decides, and that it may take a few days to get the answer. Charly- you melt my heart.
I feel like I hit the kiddo jackpot with these daughters we have been blessed with. When I look at our firstborn, I see a young lady who is slowly trying to come into herself. A young lady who shares a passion for motherhood, and has the testimony to go along with it. What a wise little soul she has at the tender age of 9 1/2.
Charly, I want you and everyone to know that your faith in me as your mom is humbling. Often times I see myself as the learner- learning from you. I hope you never cease to feel the love that swells in your heart and the light that radiates from you from having a testimony of our Savior's love. I hope you never forget how incredibly special and talented you are. I hope you always know that dad and I love you with a special kind of love that you will someday come to know for yourself as you find your eternal companion. You are a daughter of God, don't ever forget. As you continue to grow into a young lady, I look forward to watching you discover who you are and who you were meant to be. You are going to be a caring and beautiful mother someday, Charly. I know that, because I can see it in you already. You were born for this.
I sure do love you, my little Honey Girl. Always will.
Love- Mom
PS Thanks for the sweet picture you took, you have quite the eye for taking pictures. =)

Soccer & Ballet? I just don't know how they go together.
Look at Winnie, my little soccer girl!
Piper is starting ballet. and I'm starting soccer, so does that mean it is soccer vs. ballet?
OK, I admit it, I'm starting soccer. No, I'm not doing it in a dress! Anyway, when I first tried the shin guards on they felt really weird! I haven't got my uniform yet though.
I think I was about 4 or 5 in this picture at the church.

How are we ever gonna train that dog?
So, you remember me saying that I had a dog named Fred. Well for one thing he's like a fish out of water exept like 100 times that. I mean he was so cute when we first got him and now he's like animal from the Muppets! I always wear something that can get muddy when I go to feed the animals, because boy can he jump! so now you know what Fred is like.
This picture right here is a picture of me, Piper, my Grandpa, and my cousins, Lily & Mackenzie. I just love this picture because I live in Texas & it's really rare to have a picture of us wearing sweaters.

Our little clubhouse under the peach tree\ Winnie is getting so big!
Just Look at miss big girl Winnie, the other day while we were at my grandmama's house, Winnie wanted to hold chubby little 8 month Emma so my mom let her hold her, this just reminds me that Winnie used to be that size. Now she is holding another baby almost as big as herself! I mean toddler + baby = TOTAL CUTENESS!
Just look at cute little Winnie in this picture, now look at this top picture of her. It's just crazy! But her middle name was well chosen, because she sure loves to love.

Been so long!!
Sorry about not writing on my blog for so long. Anyway, now I'm 9 yrs. old. My summer has been probably the best summer ever! I went to Sea World & Six Flags Fiesta Texas, rode my first roller coaster with my dad ( of course!). So when I went to Sea World I rode the Journey to Atlantis & my dad convinced me to ride the Steel eel, when I got off the Steel eel I seriously had a major headache. The ride kept bouncing my head around. It was more like zigzag than a eel. Good bye Steel eel, maybe I'll try you again when I'm older! Anyhow at Six Flags I rode the Road Runner & Bugs white water ride, not as scary as the ones at Sea World. Now the Bugs white water ride was obviously a water ride, me & my dad rode in the very front and surprisingly there was no seat belts. Me and my dad got the most wet though because right when we started there was about a inch of water on the floor! On the other hand the Road Runner was a little scarier, this one did have seat belts. You no how some roller coasters have like an angle? Those kind I hate, well bad news for me. Okay I admit it I cried on some parts I didn't really expect. But at the end I liked it. And all of that happened in San Antonio. So now I'm back home with my new bunny George, my puppy Fred I got from my elf Rosie, my cats, and last but not least my old grandma dog Shelby. I've been saving up my money for an ipod touch, and finally I have enough & going to buy it tonight, yay! I will now start blogging. Peace Out!

This is my family
Piper is my sister, I wanted her to have her hat up but she put it down. I took a picture anyway.
We were taking pictures at an old army store and I was helping. My mom helped me edit and add my name.
I really like to take pictures, my mom lets me use her camera. Sometimes I just take pictures of grass and flowers but what I really like to take pictures of is people. When I take pictures of people I like them in roses or cornfields and stuff like that.
Before my mom let me use her camera I really wanted to have my own camera. I got one for Christmas but the battery keeps running out. Then my mom gave me her camera. Well, ya know? (Note: Mom didn't actually give her my camera but she certainly does get to use it with supervision.)
The first time I got to take pictures was at the, um, graveyard of my Aunt Rochelle. She looked so pretty. After that we went to the post office to take more pictures of her. My favorite one was her by the garbage can.
